Small Group Format

The Men’s small groups will ask the same seven questions every time they meet.

– CHECK IN –

QUESTION 1) What are you thankful for this week?

  • This is to set the stage and prepare your heart. What has God done in your life this week that you can give Him praise for.

– READ PASSAGE –

QUESTION 2) What does this passage tell you about God?

  • Who is our God? Affirm who He is based on who the Word tells us that He is.

QUESTION 3) What does this passage tell you about people?

  • What is God’s heart for people?

  • What is God’s heart that your heart be for people?

QUESTION 4) How will this passage change my life?

  • Application of God’s Word. What is knowledge without the implementation of knowledge. Knowledge applied is wisdom.

QUESTION 5) Who am I going to share what I’ve learned today with?

  • Spread the word as we are called to do in the Great Commission, “Go and make disciples of all nations.”

– PERSONAL MINISTRY –

QUESTION 6) What is stressing you out this week?

  • What is going on in your life? Air it out with freedom. Emphasis on explaining a situation from a personal viewpoint. How do YOU feel about what’s going on?

  • SASHET can be used.

QUESTION 7) How can this group help you in the coming week?

  • Beyond just talking about what’s stressing you out, let there be a practical application of loving your brother.

  • Pray.

  • Call mid-week to have an accountability check up.
